There will be a Junior Gala Day on THC3 with some clinics and games targeted at kids new to the game. Southern competitions are hoping to form an U9′s mixed competition this season as an intro to U11′s & U12′s. Cost: Free for Junior Gala Players and $3 over 16yrs.

Tim Williams and Nicholas Hill were on WIN News on Friday night and in the Mercury newspaper on Saturday due to both of them joining the Australian Defence Forces and going to university in Canberra at ADFA.
Tim is joining the Army and undertaking a Business Degree.
Nicholas is joing the Air Force and undertaking an Aeronautical Engineering and will then train as an Air Traffic Controller.
They are now undertaking a 6 week intensive bootcamp which makes Cocky’s pre-season training look like a stroll in the garden before starting their university studies.

Congratulations to goalie, Linda Gaskell, on being selected in the AUSTRALIAN WOMEN’S MASTERS HOCKEY OVER 40s TEAM which will compete in the International Masters Hockey Tournament (Masters World Cup) in England in August, 2012. Linda was a member of the Over 40s Tasmanian Womens Masters team which was runner-up, by a goal, in the grand final at the Australian Masters Games in Perth in October, 2011.
Congratulations to Peri Buckley on her selection as a Technical Official (Match Manager) at the Olympic Games in London next year. Peri is one of only four TOs from around the world invited to take part in the women’s games.
